Centrum Air is pleased to announce the launch of a new regular route – Tashkent to Malé (Maldives).
Flights will be operated once a week, every Sunday, starting from November 30, 2025.
The minimum ticket price starts from 4,000,000 UZS one way, including baggage allowance.
Flights will be operated on modern and comfortable Airbus A321 aircraft, accommodating 216 passengers, and offering a high level of safety and in-flight comfort.
“The Maldives is one of the most desired holiday destinations among travelers from Uzbekistan. We are delighted to make this route even more accessible by offering direct service at an attractive price while maintaining Centrum Air’s signature comfort,” – noted the airline’s press service.
Centrum Air is a private passenger and charter airline from Uzbekistan and a part of Centrum Holding. Based in Tashkent, the airline is actively expanding its route network across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, opening up new opportunities for both direct and connecting travel.
The company’s fleet consists of modern Airbus aircraft – A320, A320neo, A321neo, and the wide-body A330-300.
By the end of 2025, the fleet will reach 15 aircraft, and by 2026, it is expected to grow to 22 aircraft, allowing the airline to increase flight frequency on existing routes and launch new destinations, further strengthening Uzbekistan’s role as a key aviation hub in Eurasia.
Representatives of Centrum Holding took part in the official business program of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Washington, D.C., including the ceremony for the signing of bilateral documents and the presentation of joint investment projects.The meeting brought together representatives of government agencies, financial institutions and the business community of the United States, as well as executives of leading international companies and organizations. The event focused on expanding economic and investment cooperation and advancing infrastructure and strategic initiatives.Particular attention was given to the company’s preparation for entering the public capital markets. The company plans to place up to 30% of its shares in free float, with the proceeds to be allocated to infrastructure modernization, expansion of operational capacity, and fleet development. In line with its development strategy through 2029, the holding aims to build a fleet of up to 100 aircraft.Oppenheimer & Co. and Citibank act as strategic advisors and underwriters for the project. Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to long-term partnership and continued cooperation on investment initiatives.Centrum Holding will continue implementing its investment program aimed at developing aviation, cargo and ground logistics infrastructure and strengthening the country’s transport capacity.

For the comfort and safety of passengers, Centrum Air applies unified carry-on baggage rules for items transported in the aircraft cabin.Each passenger may bring one piece of carry-on baggage on board free of charge, weighing up to 8 kg.The total dimensions must not exceed 115 cm. The recommended size is 55 × 35 × 25 cm. All elements are included in the measurement, such as pockets, handles, and wheels.A special carry-on tag is attached during check-in.At the airport, carry-on items may be checked using a baggage sizer and must fit freely inside it. Additional checks may also be conducted at boarding.On board, carry-on baggage must be placed either under the seat in front of you or in the overhead bin. A compact, foldable stroller may be carried instead of standard carry-on baggage.In addition to the main carry-on allowance, passengers may also bring the following items free of charge:• a small backpack, handbag, or laptop bag (up to 30 × 40 × 10 cm)• a blanket• reading materials• baby food• an umbrella or walking cane• one duty-free shopping bagThese items are not included in the measurement of the main carry-on baggage.If your carry-on exceeds the permitted number of items, weight, or dimensions, it must be checked in as registered baggage at the check-in counter. Centrum Air has updated the check-in and boarding cut-off times for its domestic flights.Check-in now closes 45 minutes before departureBoarding is completed 25 minutes before departureThese changes are aimed at improving on-time performance and ensuring the timely execution of the flight schedule. The updated rules apply to domestic routes, including flights to Urgench (Khiva), Nukus, Bukhara, and Termez. Passengers are kindly advised to arrive at the airport in advance to complete all pre-flight procedures comfortably.Centrum Air continues to enhance its operational processes to ensure schedule reliability, passenger comfort, and a high standard of service.
