Centrum Air (IATA: C6), the passenger airline brand of My Freighter Airlines, has chosen iPort as its Departure Control System (DCS) and Load Control (W&B) partner to support its transition from a point-to-point to a hub-and-spoke operating model. Based in Uzbekistan with its largest hub in Tashkent, the airline is responding to growing regional demand for better connectivity by restructuring its network and increasing capacity.
With a rapidly expanding airport network and the need for seamless passenger connectivity, Centrum Air sought a reliable DCS partner capable of fast roll-outs, full integration with government systems for regulatory compliance, and support for through-check operations.
Centrum Air was already handled by iPort at several stations through ground handlers using iPort in-house. Just days after signing the agreement, the first C6 flights were processed in iPort under Centrum Air’s own management. A rollout to more than 30 airports is planned within the next three months.
Centrum Air operates a mixed fleet of 12 Airbus narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. Together we aim to provide passengers with a balanced combination of competitive fares, thoughtful scheduling, and high-quality service on each step of travel.
Kirill Tsarkov, Director of Ground Operations at Centrum Air,
said: “We started using iPort with positive feedback from my colleagues. Our target was to become a network carrier and offer through-check for transit passengers, so we needed a quick and reliable solution. The professional approach of the iPort team was valuable. We made a plan and executed it without long preparation. I can only say a big thank you to iPort for helping us reach our business goals in such a short time.”
Hans van Engelen, CEO of Res2,
added: “We are proud to have been selected as the system of choice by Centrum Air. Our flexible and scalable solution aligns perfectly with the ambitious growth trajectory they’re on, while our integrations with government systems will ensure compliance with all regulations, an essential requirement for a rapidly growing airline. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Centrum Air announces adjustments to fuel surcharges on certain international routes. The decision has been made in response to the significant increase in aviation fuel prices on global markets. The changes affect several scheduled routes where fuel price dynamics have had the greatest impact on operating costs. The adjustment of the fuel surcharge is intended to partially offset increased expenses and ensure the sustainability of the flight programme. At the same time, base airfares remain competitive, and the introduced changes are limited in scope and applied selectively to specific routes. The airline is taking measures to optimize costs and minimize the impact of external factors on ticket prices for passengers.Centrum Air emphasizes that this decision will help maintain schedule stability, uphold high flight safety standards, and ensure continuity of operations amid volatility in aviation fuel prices.
