Uzbekistan Closer to Europe: Centrum Air Launches Flights to Copenhagen

Centrum Air has announced the launch of its first scheduled flights to Europe. The airline’s first European destination will be Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, symbolically opening a “gateway to Europe” for passengers from Uzbekistan.

Flights will operate twice a week on modern and comfortable Airbus A320 aircraft:

Flight schedule (local time):

  • Tuesday
    Tashkent 19:00 – Copenhagen 23:30
    Copenhagen 00:30 – Tashkent 08:15 (Wednesday)

  • Thursday
    Tashkent 09:30 – Copenhagen 13:45
    Copenhagen 14:45 – Tashkent 22:30

The launch of flights to Copenhagen marks a historic milestone for the airline: these are Centrum Air’s first scheduled services to Europe, creating new opportunities for passengers and strengthening Uzbekistan’s connectivity with major European capitals.

Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, Founder and CEO of Centrum Air, commented:
“Entering the European market is an important milestone in the development of our airline. We are proud that the first European city served by Centrum Air will be Copenhagen. For us, this is not only the beginning of a new geography, but also a symbol of our ambition to connect people and countries, opening Uzbekistan to Europe and Europe to Uzbekistan.”

In addition to direct flights, Centrum Air will also offer passengers from Denmark convenient connecting routes via Tashkent to Bangkok, Seoul, Guangzhou, Phuket, Tel Aviv, Almaty, Dushanbe, Bishkek and other destinations. This will make Copenhagen an integral part of the airline’s growing network and strengthen Tashkent’s role as a major transit hub in Central Asia.

Looking ahead, Centrum Air plans to further expand its European route network. The airline is already working on new destinations to key European cities — Manchester, Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona and Rome. This way, Centrum Air is steadily moving toward strengthening its position as an international carrier connecting Uzbekistan with leading business and tourist centers across Europe.
